“Go make some stormy sounds!” - Dr Jason Haney, 2025

I started working on this baby back in May, toying with some old etude material - which you'll see in the introduction and sprinkled throughout. I've not worked much with woodwinds previously, and I was interested in writing a reed quintet after doing some score studying in the library this past summer. This piece will hopefully serve to commemorate the weird weather patterns I was experiencing in the first two weeks of this summer.
