“The Unyielding Heart” (2025)
JMU Club Orchestra programmed and premiered this piece for their end-of-semester concert on December 3rd, 2025. It was wonderful to have my music chosen and performed by a student-led ensemble. Below are the live performance, as well as a score video.
JMU Club Composition Presents: The 4th Annual Art of Music Concert
This is our 4th annual culminating Art of Music Concert. After receiving submissions from artists, composers had about one week to wrote a short piece for each painting. Performers then had 1-2 days to rehearse their piece before our culminating concert.
“Children of Lir” (2024)
Chamber Opera
In the spring of 2024, James Madison University’s Opera Guild reached out to the composition studio, seeking composers for a scenes opera chronicling several legendary stories from different cultures.
On April 26th, 2025 “Children of Lir” and three other opera scenes were premiered by the guild. I am forever grateful for the hard work of all who were involved in bringing this interdisciplinary collaboration to life.
